Your dog will stay at our home and live as part of our family while you are away. We live rurally on 21 acres in Gardners Bay in Southern Tasmania (40 minutes from Hobart). We have approximately an acre of gardens around the house which is dog fenced. This offers your dog plenty of room to run, sniff and play with our two dogs. They will have our company during the day, will sleep in front of the fire at night and will have all of the comforts of home.
This is a great option for those who have more active dogs and for dogs who do not like to be left alone. Also, dogs who find it hard to cope with the change of lifestyle offered by a kennel will thrive in a home environment where they receive individual attention, can sleep indoors and have heaps of room to run and play.
Your dog must be socialised, vaccinated and tolerant of our cat! You provide your dogs food and bedding and we will do the rest. A pick up and drop off service is available. Places are very limited as we can only take up to two dogs at a time, so please book ahead to avoid disappointment. You are welcome to come and inspect the premises at any time.
This is a great alternative to dog kennels.
Rates
We charge a daily rate of $40 for the first dog and an extra $10 for the second dog. Pick up and drop off service is charged at $15 each way.
